Nicole Thompson is an Articling Student that joined the firm in 2022 after previously working as a law student at a full-service national law firm in Montréal. She received a joint Civil Law and Common Law (B.C.L & J.D) degree from McGill University in addition to her Honours Bachelor of Arts (B.A) in French and Business from the University of Waterloo.
During law school, Nicole volunteered for the Legal Information Clinic at McGill and worked as a research assistant in Intellectual Property and co-authored a publication in the University of New Brunswick Law Journal. She was an active member of the Black Law Students’ Association of McGill (BLSAM), and the McGill Chapter of Lawyers Without Borders Canada. She volunteered with Law, Éducation, Connexion (L.E.X), a high school outreach program, where she facilitated workshops for students at partnering schools.
In her spare time, Nicole enjoys running, yoga, traveling, and reading historical fiction. Nicole is fluent in French and English.
